Book Reservation Using RideReserve
When the Pacific Surfliner service is designated as “all-reserved”, Multi-Ride Pass Holders will need to update their tickets to reserve a seat for a specific train and time they want to travel. This can be done through the RideReserve program.
Whether you're commuting regularly or traveling frequently along the Pacific Surfliner route, your Multi-Ride Pass makes it easy to reserve trips in advance and secure your preferred departure. How to Make a Reservation
Step 1: Access Your Pass
Visit the Amtrak RideReserve website and locate the Look Up Your Pass section. Click on 'Look Up Your Pass'.

2. Enter your reservation ticket number along with your preferred identifying information, and then select “Find Trip”.

3. Your Multi-Ride Pass, including your 10-Ride Pass details, will appear on screen. Next, select “Find Trains”.

4. Enter your desired departure date. Keep in mind that reservations can only be made up to 14 days in advance.

5. Select a date from the calendar and click “Done”.

6. Click “Find Trains” to view all available train options for your selected date.

7. When you've found the train you'd like to take, select “Confirm” to reserve your trip.

8. You'll see details shown for your date of travel and can review your reservation. Click “View Ticket” to find your trip details, including your receipt, itinerary, ticket, and QR code. You'll also receive an e-mail of your ticket confirmation and QR code.

9. Be sure to have your ticket and QR code ready to present to the Amtrak conductor when you ride.
