Old Town Día de los Muertos
Visit Old Town San Diego during its month-long Fiesta de Reyes Day of the Dead celebration. Stroll the state historic park from 11am-9pm to see the curated displays and altars as remembrance to those who've passed, listen to live music, and shop local arts and crafts. The event culminates with a fiesta on the weekend of Oct. 31 - Nov. 2.

Carpinteria Avocado Fest
The 40th California Avocado Festival in downtown Carpinteria October 2-4, 2026 is complete with 3 full days of Peace, Love and Guacamole! We have 60+ bands, 4 stages, 50 arts & crafts and commercial vendors, 15 delicious food vendors and over a dozen nonprofits on site for you to help support. The event begins on Friday at 1 pm through 11pm, Saturday from 11am to 10pm, and Sunday from 11am - 6pm. The festival is easily walkable from Carpinteria station, located on Linden Avenue between Carpinteria Avenue and 6th Street.

Gloria Molina Grand Park’s Downtown Día de los Muertos returns this fall for a 10-day free celebration running October 24 through November 2, 2026, transforming the park at 200 N.
